What do you do now?
One certain question will be, “What do I do for health insurance for myself and family?” Most Americans know that Medicare is available to them at retirement, even though few understand the details of how it is obtained. But other questions also arise depending on the family situation. If the retiree is older than his/her spouse, what options will be available for the spouse, and how are those accessed. Eligible dependents of retirees are allowed to elect Cobra that will cover them for a specified period of time, but is it cost effective? And what will happen at the end of the specified time? What options are available at the end of Cobra? What about the retiree’s dependent children? How do these questions affect them?

Employers need help
Most employers do not wish to take on the responsibility of another employee benefit program. Most employers have their hands full dealing with the issues involved with current programs. Jeffrey H. Seders & Associates helps employers by taking care of their retiring employees, handling these issues for the employer, and providing the employer with our concise and detailed booklet, “Your Roadmap to Retiree Health Insurance”, which can be provided to retirees as needed. With 30 years of experience in dealing with employers and employees, Medicare, Cobra and Individual plans, we know the answers to the many questions, issues and concerns that always come up.
All of these questions must be thought through and acceptable appropriate actions must be planned and understood. Jeffrey H. Seders & Associates counsels retiring employees and individuals on all of these, and many other, questions.
